About us
Birkebeineren is centrally located in Olympiaparken near the center of Lillehammer. It all started in 1952, and since then the company has grown into what it is today, a modern accommodation business with both hotel rooms and apartments. In 2020, we carried out a major renovation of the reception, entrance and common areas. In addition, all hotel rooms have been renovated. Everyone is welcome, but be advised: you won’t find a chandelier here.
We have local owners and are not affiliated with any chain. This has created our unique DNA.
We have free Wi-Fi, sauna and rooms and apartments with TV.
The center of Lillehammer is within walking distance. Hunderfossen Theme Park and Hafjell with all they have to offer are just a 20-minute drive away.
