We’ve always been a popular choice for groups of all kinds. You don’t have to be part of a national team, or be here for training purposes.

Companies hold kick-offs or board meetings here. Extended families scattered across eastern Norway gather here, and groups of friends who meet for quality time – we welcome them all.

Local businesses have met with us for an aperitif before a Christmas or summer party – a perfect change from the usual happenings.

Our 5 meeting rooms are very nice as gathering rooms when needed. Serving is at your own discretion.

We want you to feel at home, which means you should be allowed to decide.

Inspiration?

There’s a lot to do in Lillehammer and the surrounding area. So much, in fact, that it’s hard to come up with anything at all. We’ve arranged a number of activities for groups, so maybe some examples will make it easier?

In winter, tobogganing in Kanthaugen is a popular activity. The tobogganing is done with large, professional sledges, and the lift pulls you back up. You have to be 10 years old to ride alone, so this is no ordinary toboggan run. Incredible fun! For the more adrenaline-seeking, you can go bobsleighing in the bobsleigh and toboggan run.

Or perhaps something simpler? A low-threshold ski race at Birkebeinerstadion? And we can bring hot chocolate and lunch?

After a long day of meetings, it can be good to get out of the house for a while – without doing all sorts of strange things. That’s when we fire up the bonfire just outside, get out the reindeer skins and make a variety of hot drinks.

In the summer, we offer fitness in the form of climbing the 936 steps to the top of the ski jump. Or maybe the chairlift? We have a running track and soccer field right outside the door – great opportunities for simple competitions.

How about a rebus race in the neighborhood? On foot or on an electric bike? And maybe you want to make a little extra out of the gathering? Should we set up a DJ and lights?

In the neighborhood

We think we live in the best neighborhood we could have. On all sides we have good neighbors and beautiful nature. We therefore encourage you to get to know our neighborhood during your stay. There’s a lot to choose from, but below we’ve gathered some of what we think you should experience, both in terms of restaurants and nightlife, urban environment and activities.
