Bjerkebæk – Sigrid Undset
Welcome to a tour of Sigrid Undset’s poetry workshop at Bjerkebæk, Sigrid Undset’s home. At Bjerkebæk she completed, among other things, the trilogy about Kristin Lavransdatter in 1920 – 22.
Sigrid Undset was passionate about horticulture, and many of the perennials and fruit trees from her time still stand in the garden at Bjerkebæk. Bjerkebæk is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
