Maihaugen in Lillehammer is one of the largest and oldest open-air museums in Europe. Maihaugen is a living museum that offers both cultural experiences and family activities.
Maihaugen is an open-air museum with 200 buildings, exhibitions, restaurants and experiences for people of all ages. The museum was founded by Anders Sandvig in 1887 and moved to Maihaugen in 1904.
