Hafjell Ski Resorts is another arena built for the Olympics. In summertime the ski resort turns into a downhill bike paradise with its many tracks and possibilities. You can choose tracks from green to black. Some of the black tracks has major jumps and gaps, so be prepared! You can bring your own bike or rent a bike in Hafjell.

If you’re looking for easier bike riding during your coolcation, there is a pumptrack just outside of Håkonshall, the Olympic ice-skating arena. From the Birkebeineren ski arena mentioned earlier, there’s also a great selection of natural tracks in the woods. This area is well known and often used amongst the locals. A 40-year-old restaurant located in an old brewery cellar from 1855, where it was then used to store the brewery’s beer tanks. The restaurant consists of three vendors and accommodates 120 guests with a stylish bar in the middle. The wine cellar is well stocked with 150 different wines from all over the world. It is the perfect meeting point for a better meal and drink in an adult environment. It is soundproof, intimate and cozy.
